The Team

We can’t say enough good things about our REITE team! We wouldn’t be where we are without them. They’re the people behind the scenes who get a mountain of things done.

Team Members

  • Katherine Nelson-Riley

Katherine Nelson-Riley started helping out with live in-person events for The REITE Club in 2018 and as our venues changed and our community expanded, she became our go-to Operations Manager who directs everything behind the scenes. Katherine has been in event management and corporate communications for years and works tirelessly to make sure that everything runs smoothly. When Katherine joined The REITE Club, she didn’t own investment real estate and now we’re proud to announce that she’s taken those first steps to increasing her personal real estate wealth.

  • François Lanthier

Francois Lanthier is our Business Development & Sponsorship Manager. François is the person to speak to if you need information about REITE Club resources, sponsorship opportunities, and guest appearances. You'll meet François at a Facebook live event, on our Facebook and Instagram feeds, and also at our events. François is fluent in three languages (English, French, and Spanish) and he has 20+ years of customer service, sales, marketing, and communications experience. With over 15 years as a real estate investor (a mix of flipping, multi-family rentals, and vacation rentals), François understands the real estate investing world. He and his wife host a social media mini-show called Wine & Real Estate.

  • Paul Copcutt

Paul Copcutt runs a Real Estate Investor specific marketing agency, REI Branded, helping busy real estate investors and related professionals build brands and businesses. Paul is a regular workshop facilitator and speaker for organizations including Royal Bank Mortgages, TD Bank, Scotiabank, Royal Le Page, and CIBC, and is an invited speaker for professional associations and major conferences. A regular media resource, Paul’s perspectives and client personal brand actions have been featured in Forbes, Elle, Money, Reuters and The Wall Street Journal as well as online and all major Canadian newspapers including the Globe & Mail and Financial Post. Paul helps us figure out what to say, when to say it, how to say it, and where to say it – all while slipping in those British quips with that oh-so-dry British sense of humour.
