The thing about RTOs Jamie is that it's hard to have an unsuccessful one... If you pick the right house in the right neighborhood and you collect a good size Option Consideration Fee up front and use good agreements...even if the RTO does not end with the TB buying the house you will be OK. We just had one of those in Kitchener...they were supposed to buy the house in July for $430,000...they could not get a mortgage...plus they had to move to another town (Ottawa) we just sold it for $552,000. And in this case I gave the TBs their deposit back because come on...
