1. Don't do a joint venture with just anyone. I get calls every day from people saying they want to do a joint venture with me. But I want to get to know them first.

Daniel: Scott Temple has been investing for over a decade. And his experience includes short-term rentals, rent to own, basement suite conversions, and student rentals. And you started out like a lot of people working full-time and you grew your real estate portfolio.

Sarah: Next, Jennifer and Francois Lanthier from FL Homes Corp. They both have been growing their portfolio properties located in Eastern Ontario, where they used to live actually and Moncton, New Brunswick and beyond. They began about 15 years ago and they really scaled up very recently.
